Resolve patching failures and post-update compatibility issues to maintain system uptime.
Track remediation progress and document exceptions or technical blockers for stakeholders.
Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field is typically required.
4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration or a dedicated Vulnerability Management role.
Proven experience managing and securing Windows Server (2016+) and various Linux flavors.
Strong understanding of CVEs, risk scoring (CVSS), and the importance of timely lifecycle management.
Ability to coordinate with application owners to schedule maintenance windows and explain technical risks.
