Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer Team Lead to drive development and delivery of mission-critical banking and financial systems, similar to large-scale implementations.
The candidate will be responsible for leading development teams, designing scalable architectures, and ensuring high-quality delivery of secure, compliant, and performance-driven applications in the BFSI domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design and development of FinTech/Banking enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET / MVC
- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems aligned with banking standards
- Define coding standards, best practices, and review team deliverables
- Handle system integrations with APIs, third-party systems, and government platforms
Project Delivery & Ownership
- Own delivery of modules/features from requirement to production deployment
- Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and SLAs
- Manage production releases and post-deployment support
Banking Domain Implementation
- Design and implement workflows related to:
- Loan processing systems
- Credit guarantee platforms
- MIS & reporting dashboards
Regulatory compliance modules
- High transaction volumes
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Integration with banks/NBFCs
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of developers (510 members)
- Conduct code reviews, performance evaluations, and technical guidance
- Ensure knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
System & Performance Optimization
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and APIs
- Ensure security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption)
- Handle scalability and high availability requirements
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Solid understanding of REST APIs & API integrations
- Expertise in MSSQL Server
- Strong in Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Indexing
- Experience in handling large datasets and transactional systems
Domain Experience (Must Have)
Minimum 35 years in Banking / Financial Services projects
Experience in:
- Loan systems / credit guarantee / insurance / fintech platforms
- Regulatory compliance and audit systems
- Integration with banking APIs, payment gateways
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership and team handling capabilities
- Excellent communication with business stakeholders
- Problem-solving and decision-making mindset
- Ability to work under pressure in critical production environments
Qualifications
- B.Tech / MCA / Equivalent degree
- Experience working on government or PSU banking projects is highly preferred
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
