Job Description
The SAP AATP Consultant (C2 Grade) is responsible for supporting and implementing Advanced AvailabletoPromise (AATP) functionalities in SAP S/4HANA. The role focuses on configuring standard AATP features, executing impact analysis, resolving defects, and supporting business users during project and support phases under the guidance of senior consultants or leads.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Support implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA AATP
- Configure and maintain:
- Product Allocation (PAL)
- Backorder Processing (BOP)
- AlternativeBased Confirmation (ABC)
- Perform ATP checks and analyze availability issues in sales orders
- Assist in defining demand prioritization rules based on business requirements
- Support order confirmation and reconfirmation processes
- Analyze supply and demand conflicts and propose standard AATP solutions
- Work closely with SD, MM, and PP teams for integrated testing and issue resolution
Project & Support Activities
- Participate in:
- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot AATPrelated defects and incidents
- Prepare functional documentation:
- Configuration documents
- Test cases
- User guides
- Support production issues and minor enhancements
Required Skills & Knowledge
SAP Skills
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA AATP
- Handson experience with:
- Basic BOP configuration and execution
- Product Allocation setup and monitoring
- Good understanding of SAP SD OrdertoCash (OTC) processes
Knowledge of:
- Classic ATP vs Advanced ATP
- Sales order processing and delivery scheduling
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Ability to analyze ATP results and identify root causes
- Basic understanding of supply elements (stock, planned orders, purchase orders)
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA configuration and business rules
- Strong issuetracking and resolution skills
Soft Skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
- Willingness to learn advanced AATP capabilities
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Experience in at least:
- One S/4HANA implementation or
- One support project involving AATP
