Job Description
The position is directly responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products
- This role requires experience in API and Linux environment testing, UI testing, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Agile methodologies
- The role also requires extensive experience in QA methodologies and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Job Responsibilities
- Review requirements and specifications and define test conditions
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
- Work closely with the development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality that meets the acceptance criteria
- Perform Linux and UI based testing to ensure seamless user experience
- Having well-versed knowledge in using Linux and Network commands are additional plus
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participating in internal and cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery
- Q epare and present test reports and metrics for management
