Azure Platform Support Engineer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain Azure API Management (APIM) for upstream and downstream integrations.
• Implement ingress, egress, and internal gateways with rate limiting, throttling, and JWT-based authentication.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end API connectivity issues, failures, and logs across environments.
• Monitor and analyze application performance using Azure Application Insights, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.
• Support integrations with core banking systems and CRM customer portals.
• Manage Azure Service Bus, event-driven messaging, and integration workflows.
• Perform maintenance, patching, and operational support for Azure Cosmos DB.
• Follow DevOps best practices using Azure Repos, pipelines, branching strategies, and pull/push requests.
• Manage secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault, including certificate rotation and Blob Storage operations.
• Apply strong understanding of Incident, Change, Problem Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Provide L2 support for escalations and complex cloud/API connectivity issues.
• Ensure adherence to banking retail compliance standards and security best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
