Job Description
JD for Cloud Administrator:
- To collaborate with cloud computing teams to define Cloud Computing adoption models, best practices, use cases, guidance documents etc, as and when required
- To work with other technical and Data Center Architects for migration plans, application migration, plans, requirements and needs
- Perform maintenance & coordination with Vendors for Application issues of Big Data/ Script/ API communication among servers
- Backend Development & maintenance of in-house DB
- Managing API deployments & Log analysis
- Application deployment and troubleshooting on App/Web servers like Apache, Tomcat, JBoss etc.
- Configuration and Management of VM as well as Optimization & Scaling of Cloud resources.
- Creation/ modification of firewall rules, VPC.
- Collaboration with NIC team for updating/configuring VM hosted on NIC cloud.
- Monitoring event logs of all services/access for escalating suspicious /unauthorized or accidental changes in cloud workloads.
- Conduct/support vulnerabilities scans and collaborate with development team for fixing vulnerabilities.
- Ensure backup configuration and performing recovery test.
- Generate workload performance report.
- Apply patches for vulnerabilities reported.
- PostgreSQL/MySQL, Mango DB Installation, Configuration, support and maintenance
- To provide 24 X 7 support, as and when required
- DB Hardening, setup and tuning, Creating Database partitions and Table space, Perform Routine Database Administration support, SQL Query tuning
- Integration & support of REST based APIs
- Collaborate with internal/external teams to fix and improve performances
- Ability to work independently, to ensure applications are up-to-date with latest technologies and good attitude for skill up gradations
- Update/Configure OS & Troubleshooting OS level issues (OS like: Windows,Linux, MacOS, etc) Verify cloud bills with consumption reports
- Managing enterprise network infrastructure including Cisco switches and
routing environment.
- Configuration and maintenance of firewall security policies.
- Monitoring and handling network vulnerabilities.
- Administration of Windows Server and Active Directory (AD DS).
- Creating and implementing Group Policies (GPOs) for security and user management.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and domain policies. Implementing and monitoring NAS-based backup solutions.
- Specialization in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- 3+ years of experience
- B.Sc.(Computer Science/Eng.), Diploma in Eng.(Computer Science/IT), B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT/Electronics or MCA,Preferably with certification in cloud/network administration.
