Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Translator to join our team in the Patient Care Services department at Apollo Hospitals. The ideal candidate will have excellent translation skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibility
- Translate medical documents, reports, and other patient care-related materials with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication between patients and their families.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and concepts to facilitate effective translation.
- Edit and proofread translated content for clarity, grammar, and punctuation accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Strong proficiency in English language with excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to understand complex medical terminology and concepts with a strong foundation in biology and medicine.
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
