Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Engineer with strong expertise in ITSM modules and integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience in ServiceNow across multiple implementations and will be responsible for leading development teams, designing solutions, and ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs.
  • Configure and manage ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Design and implement workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
  • Build and manage integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
  • Develop and customize Service Portal components including widgets, pages, and UI elements using HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and Jelly.
  • Configure Service Catalog including Catalog Items, Variable Sets, Catalog Client Scripts, UI Policies, and ACLs.
  • Design and develop custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.
  • Perform ATF testing, instance upgrades, cloning, and platform administration.
  • Create and manage reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
  • Lead development teams, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across multiple implementations.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules.
  • Strong scripting skills within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations and Service Portal development.
  • Hands-on experience in workflow automation and custom application development.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certifications such as:
    • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
    • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules such as CMDB/CSDM, ITOM, or HRSD.Role & responsibilities
