We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Engineer / Senior Project
Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Electronic Security Systems. Reporting
directly to the AVP Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution, site
management, and successful delivery of ELV projects across the Bangalore region. You will
work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that all systems are
installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest industry standards, while providing regular
project health updates to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of ELV projects,
from site mobilization to final handover. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within
budget, and as per quality standards.
- Leadership Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for project updates on the
ground; provide regular, clear, and actionable progress reports, risk assessments, and
escalation notices directly to the AVP Operations.
- Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day site activities, including coordinating with
electrical contractors, civil teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless
installation.
- Technical Planning: Review system designs, shop drawings, and Bill of Quantities
(BOQ). Prepare execution schedules, resource plans, and project tracking matrices.
- Installation & Commissioning: Supervise the installation, programming, testing, and
commissioning of various ELV systems, particularly CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm,
Intrusion Detection, and Public Address (PA) systems.
- Vendor & Team Management: Lead and guide a team of technicians and
subcontractors. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environment (HSE)
protocols at the site.
- Documentation & Handover: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation,
including As-Built drawings, Measurement Books (MB), Site Progress Reports, and
Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals. Conduct user training sessions and ensure a
seamless handover process.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical, or a
related engineering field.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in project execution specifically for ELV
and Electronic Security Systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working with leading security system integrators
or facility management companies is highly preferred.
Technical Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of integrated security systems: IP CCTV, Access Control Systems
(ACS), Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Intrusion Alarm, and PA/BGM Systems.
- Familiarity with top industry brands (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, Lenel, Matrix,
Tyco).
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), and floor
plans.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, switches)
as they relate to IP-based security systems.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients,
cross-functional teams, and senior executives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving site-level
challenges.
- High level of accountability and ownership, given the direct reporting line to the
operations leadership.
