Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experiencedTechnical Leadwith a strong background in Java and API development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating across functions to drive technical excellence.
What you will do:
- Estimate, design, develop, and unit test application features and enhancements.
- Lead the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to define technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Take ownership of deliverables and ensure timely completion with high quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with a proactive mindset.
What You Will Need to Have
- 9+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in API development.
- Strong expertise inJava/J2EE,Spring Framework,Spring Boot, andSpring Data JPA.
- Proficient inRESTful API design,JSON, andXML.
- Solid understanding ofJava 8 features,Spring Batch, andOracle/SQL.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity withdesign patterns,software architecture, andframework design.
- Experience integrating with third-party systems and services.
- Hands-on experience inAgile/Scrumdevelopment environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
What Would Be Great to Have
- Good to have experience incards and payments domain.
- Exposure toDevOps practices,CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to GenAI (Github Copilot)
