Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a GCP Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and support cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP (preferred) / Azure
• Handle core services: Compute,Networking, IAM, Load Balancers, Security, Storage
• Provide hands-on Linux administration and support
• Configure and manage cloud monitoring and alerting systems
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
• Handle IPC requests and provide timely resolutions
• Participate in client calls and deliver solutions effectively
• Work from client location with 24/7 rotational shift support
• Collaborate with teams to improve operations and adopt automation/AI-driven practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of IT experience with strong GCP exposure
• Solid understanding of cloud fundamentals (networking, IAM, compute, storage)
• Strong Linux command-line expertise
• Experience in cloud monitoring tools
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills for client interaction
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and onsite model

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform (IaC)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments
