As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, continuously improving and refining software to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and adaptability are key, as the engineer navigates complex project demands and contributes to the overall success of the software development lifecycle.Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.Professional Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes within enterprise environments.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize software performance.
- Ability to work with complex data structures and integrate multiple data sources.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and agile frameworks.
- Competence in designing scalable and maintainable software components.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
