Job Description
Position Summary As a Associate Software Quality Engineer (I) and a member of a dynamic and multi-functional Agile development team, you will be responsible for identifying real-world, user-centric scenarios and workflows and building executing test automation to ensure their accuracy within our scientific and healthcare suite of products Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting, tracking, and testing issues discovered during design and development as well as coaching analysts who may possess less experience To be successful in this role you need a real passion for quality software, dedication to customer happiness, and an ability to work effectively in a matrix organization You will need a positive attitude, persistence, a love of problem solving, and the ability to communicate with people at all levels of a product development organization Clinisys' AI Philosophy Building an AIfirst organisation is central to Clinisys purpose and the impact we deliver As a global provider of intelligent diagnostic informatics solutions, we build AIenabled, cloudbased platforms to enhance diagnostic workflows across healthcare, life sciences, and public health By applying intelligent technology thoughtfully and responsibly, we help laboratories and testing environments operate more effectively, generate meaningful insights at scale, and ultimately support healthier and safer communities Operating across more than 30 countries, Clinisys expects all colleaguesregardless of role or functionto work confidently with AIenabled tools, apply digital and analytical thinking, and continuously adapt as technologies evolve, must drive an AI first sense of purpose and urgency Essential Functions Complete assigned testing tasks on schedule, including designing test cases, executing tests, reporting, logging bugs, and documenting steps to reproduce Participate in Scrum rituals and client feedback sessions Use knowledge of workflows and user experience to create thorough test cases and ensure effective coverage Apply appropriate testing techniques to deliver quality products within deadlines Troubleshoot defects and contribute to root cause analysis Follow internal standards, processes, and track time spent on activities, raising any impediments promptly Skills Needed Strong analytical, system thinking, and problem-solving abilities Proactive learner with effective communication skills Professional, curious, inquisitive, and accountable Knowledge of software testing concepts, Agile methodologies, basic automation, and scripting Proficient knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks, PlayWright or any AI based automation tool Required Experience Education Bachelors degree in software engineering, mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience 1-3 years experience in SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using type script Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools for automation, defect prediction, and regression analysis; maintain QA best practices and documentation Perform database validation and write queries using MS SQL or Oracle Preferred Experience Education Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skillsJob Classification
