Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain documentation for software functionality and technical specifications.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to treasury and capital markets domain.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices."
