Job Title: Test Lead Life Asia
Location: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai
Experience: 610 Years
Domain: Life Asia (Mandatory)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong Life Asia expertise to drive end-to-end testing for life insurance applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Life Asia (Day 1 & Day 2 processes) along with proven ability to lead testing teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing lifecycle (SIT, UAT, Regression) for Life Asia applications
- Understand and validate Life Insurance business processes (New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Claims)
- Design test strategy, test plan, and execution roadmap
- Manage and mentor a team of testers; ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and BA teams
- Drive UAT coordination and ensure defect resolution within SLAs
- Prepare and maintain test artifacts (Test Cases, RTM, Defect Reports, Test Summary Reports)
- Identify risks and provide mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices
Required Skills
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Life Asia (minimum 35 years)
- Strong knowledge of Life Insurance domain
- Experience in:
- Manual Testing (SIT/UAT/Regression)
- Defect tracking tools (JIRA/ALM)
- Solid understanding of:
- Day 1 (New Business) & Day 2 (Policy Servicing) processes
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
- Experience in test planning and team handling
Good to Have
- Experience with SQL / data validation
- Exposure to automation testing (Selenium / API testing)
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Experience working with insurance clients (HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential, etc.)
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 610 years of QA experience with relevant Life Asia exposure
- Prior experience as Test Lead / Senior QA
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to handle client interactions
- Experience working in BFSI / Insurance projects
