Hiring: Python & GCP Data Engineer
Location: Kolkata/ Pune/ Indore/ Bengaluru / Remote

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer/ Data Engineer who can design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines across AWS and GCP environments. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in ETL, cloud data engineering, NoSQL databases, and data lifecycle management. You will also collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to support advanced analytics and Generative AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, optimize, and maintain scalable & resilient data pipelines
- Manage the full data lifecycle: collection, extraction, transformation, and quality assurance
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes using tools like Talend, SSIS, or Informatica
- Develop cloud-based data solutions across AWS (S3, SQS, Redshift, Kinesis, DocumentDB) and GCP (BigQuery, Data Fusion, Cloud Storage)
- Partner with Data Scientists/ML Engineers to support ML models and AI-driven use cases
- Implement performance tuning and ensure high-quality data availability
- Work with NoSQL stores such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Hive, Presto, and Druid
- Build dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools
- Contribute to real-time streaming pipeline design and implementation
- Own problems end-to-end and ensure timely delivery of projects
Must-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (Talend, SSIS, Informatica)
- Expertise in AWS & GCP cloud data technologies
- Strong command of Python (Java knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Hive, Presto, Druid)
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines, data lifecycle, and performance tuning
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Understanding of real-time streaming architectures
- Exposure to SaaS, cloud computing, lead generation, or search engine marketing
Good to Have
- Experience in Generative AI-related data architecture
- Exposure to ML model workflows
