Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Teradata Developer with strong experience in data management and analytics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Teradata and ETL development, with the ability to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Teradata
• Build and optimize ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned scripts
• Perform data analysis, data modeling, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for development and deployment

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience with Teradata
• Solid experience in ETL tools/processes (Informatica, DataStage, Talend, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and query optimization
• Experience in data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Snowflake
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools
• Knowledge of performance tuning and workload management in Teradata

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Key Competencies

• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
