Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Engineering
Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Write and optimize complex database queries (SQL and related technologies) to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources.
Integrate and analyze data from JIRA, BB data, and other operational and analytical systems.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all analytics outputs.
Business Engagement & Requirements Gathering
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to gather, clarify, and document analytical and reporting requirements.
Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, KPIs, and metrics.
Proactively identify opportunities where data and analytics can improve decision making and operational efficiency.
Dashboard & Reporting Development
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that clearly communicate insights to business and executive audiences.
Ensure dashboards align with business objectives, data governance standards, and usability best practices.
Continuously enhance dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
Execution Lead Responsibilities
Own end to end execution of analytics initiatives, from intake and prioritization to delivery and adoption.
Plan and manage work breakdowns, timelines, dependencies, and risks for analytics deliverables.
Coordinate with cross functional teams (data engineering, IT, product, business users) to ensure smooth execution.
Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure commitments are met with high quality and on time.
Act as the single point of accountability for analytics delivery within assigned initiatives or programs.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
Establish and enforce best practices for data analysis, dashboard design, and documentation.
Support data governance, metric standardization, and reporting consistency across teams.
Mentor junior analysts and promote a culture of data driven execution.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
Strong hands on experience in data analysis and database querying (SQL required).
Proven experience working with JIRA data, BB data, or similar operational data sources.
Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
Experience building dashboards and reports using modern BI and visualization tools.
Experience leading execution, owning deliverables, and driving initiatives to completion.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an Agile or Scrum environment, including familiarity with JIRA workflows.
Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics design, and data storytelling.
Prior experience acting as a project lead, delivery lead, or analytics lead.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
