urgent requirement For Interventional Cardiologist @ Kamineni Hospitals

Job Description

1. Interventional Procedures

• Perform catheter-based procedures such as:
• Coronary angiography
• Angioplasty (PTCA) and stent placement
• Primary PCI (for acute myocardial infarction)
• Peripheral angioplasty
• Use imaging tools like IVUS, OCT, and FFR for precision
• Manage complex cases (chronic total occlusions, bifurcation lesions)

2. Clinical Care

• Evaluate patients with cardiovascular symptoms (chest pain, dyspnea, etc.)
• Diagnose heart conditions using ECG, echocardiography, stress tests
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide OPD, IPD, and emergency cardiac care

3. Emergency & Critical Care

• Handle acute cardiac emergencies:
• ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)
• Cardiogenic shock
• Arrhythmias requiring urgent intervention
• Participate in 24/7 cath lab coverage and on-call duties

4. Pre & Post-Procedural Management

• Assess patient suitability and procedural risks
• Obtain informed consent
• Monitor patients post-procedure for complications
• Ensure proper medication management (antiplatelets, anticoagulants)

5. Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Non-invasive cardiologists
• Cardiothoracic surgeons
• Intensivists
• Radiologists
• Participate in heart team discussions for complex cases
