Job Description
Role : Cloud Automation Engineer
Experience : 2-7 Years
Mode of Work : Hybrid
Location : Hyderabad
Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days only

Responsibilities
- Lead administration and optimization of AVD and Windows 365 environments
- Design and maintain:
- Host pool architectures
- Session host sizing and scaling strategies
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for:
- Performance and latency issues
- Profile, FSLogix, and user experience problems
- Design and manage gold images and image lifecycle processes
- Monitor VDI performance, resource utilization, user experience, optimize auto scaling policies, startup/shutdown policies and resource allocation
- Maintain management and automation tools including Nerdio Manager for Enterprise to streamline VDI provisioning and management
- Implement and enforce security controls for VDI platforms
- Integrate VDI solutions with:
- Azure networking
- Identity and access management
- Automate VDI operations using scripting and Azure-native tools
- Support VDI migrations and platform enhancements
- Act as escalation point for critical VDI incidents and lead root cause analysis
- Collaborate with Cloud Architecture, Automation, and Security teams
- Mentor Associate-level VDI engineers and review technical work
- Drive continuous improvement and platform standardization initiatives
Skills
- Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools inclu
- Deep understanding of:
- Windows OS internals
- FSLogix and profile management
- User experience optimization
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking and identity
- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell preferred)
- Understanding of security, compliance, and endpoint management
- Experience with Nerdio Manager for Enterprise
- Professional Skills
- Strong technical ownership and decision-making ability
- Ability to lead complex troubleshooting efforts
- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Mentoring and knowledge-sharing mindset
