Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Engineer/Senior Executive /Assistant Manager to join our Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) team.
Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 7-10 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation and upkeep of a companys facilities and equipment with enhancing processes and systems.
- Plan and implement predictive, preventive, and scheduled maintenance to enhance equipment uptime and reliability
- Ensure seamless functioning of lab equipment, instruments, machines, HVAC systems, utilities, water systems, and electrical infrastructure
- Oversee installation, training, and maintenance of both lab and utility equipment
- Manage new projects including project design, URS preparation, and vendor identification
- Troubleshoot breakdowns effectively using root cause analysis and corrective measures
- Maintain critical spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and ensure equipment efficiency
- Document and report maintenance records in line with SOPs to support decision-making
- Provide training to lab staff on maintenance protocols, safety practices, and documentation
- Reduce maintenance costs by improving preventive maintenance practices and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Ensure timely and proper documentation of all preventive maintenance activities for lab equipment, utilities, and HVAC systems
