We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer / Data Engineer with 46 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, reliable data platforms using DBT and Snowflake. The role involves designing data models, implementing robust ELT pipelines, and enabling analytics-ready datasets aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain DBT models using best practices for analytics engineering Build, manage, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses for performance and scalability Develop and maintain ELT pipelines to transform raw data into curated analytical models Implement data testing, validation, and documentation using DBT Apply dimensional modeling and Data Vaultbased concepts where appropriate Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and reliability Optimize SQL transformations and Snowflake compute usage Collaborate with analytics, BI, and business teams to support reporting and downstream use cases Participate in code reviews and contribute to data engineering standards Troubleshoot pipeline failures and resolve production data issues Required Skills & Qualifications: 46 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering roles Strong hands-on experience with DBT (models, tests, macros, snapshots) Solid experience working with Snowflake Advanced SQL skills Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling Experience with version control (Git) Understanding of data validation, testing, and deployment practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Very good hands-on on SQL/SNOWSQL. Nice to Have: Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure Hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0 modeling and implementation Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows (including DBT deployments
