Job Description
JOB LOCATION: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi
Must Have Skills:
- Design & Implement ETL/data pipeline and Data Lake/ Datawarehouse in AWS
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS data and analytics services/technologies
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing data ingestion and data processing using AWS services: VPC/SG, EC2, S3, Autoscaling, CloudFormation, Lake Formation, DMS, Kinesis, Kafka, Nifi, CDC processing, Redshift, Snowflake, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Docker, Lambda, PySpark, Glue, API GW, etc.
- Familiarity with the Technology stack available in the industry for data management, data ingestion, capture, processing, and curation: Kafka, Stream Sets, Attunity, Golden Gate AWS EMR , Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Cassandra, PySpark, Flume, Hive, Impala, etc.
- Design and Implement analytics solution that utilize the ETL/data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing products
Good to Have Skills:
- IoT/event-driven/microservices in the cloud- Experience with private and public cloud architectures
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate
- Any Professional/Specialty AWS certification
- Cloud native development and deployment in prod
- Data Analysis, maintenance, and support experience in cloud infra
- Data migration and multi-region replication experience
- Strong concept of Data Lakehouse and Data Mesh architecture
Responsibilities or Expectations from the Role:
- Design and implement the solution required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS data and analytics services/technologies.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs and digital transformation goals and provide the cloud configuration expertise.
- Responsible for the evaluation of technical risks and map out mitigation strategies
- Execute and implement all aspects of a cloud data migration initiative, including its impact on infrastructure, networks, and security for data projects
- Maintain day-to-day health of cloud data solutions, taking steps to ensure its productivity and optimization
