Mendix Lead Developer @ Prolim

Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Mendix Architect to design, develop, and lead the implementation of enterprise-grade low-code applications using the Mendix platform. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring scalable and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions using the Mendix low-code platform
• Lead application development, integration, and deployment activities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Define best practices, coding standards, and governance for Mendix development
• Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, and security of applications
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems (REST, SOAP, APIs, databases, etc.)
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution design discussions
• Stay updated with Mendix platform updates and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to application development
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix development
• Mendix Advanced / Expert Certification (preferred)
• Strong understanding of microflows, nanoflows, domain modeling, and Mendix architecture
• Experience in integrations (REST APIs, web services, third-party systems)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Mendix Cloud)
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
