Job Description

Job Title: QA Engineer (Automation) 4 to 6 Years Experience

Notice Period - Immediate to 30 days only

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience, including at least 2+ years in test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and executing automated test scripts, along with a solid understanding of QA methodologies and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members throughout

the SDLC

Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug tracking tools

Contribute to automation framework enhancements and testing best practices

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines

Execute API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile environments

Support and guide junior QA team members when needed

Required Skills & Experience:

4 to 6 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation

Strong experience with at least one automation tool such as Selenium, Cypress, or

Playwright

Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)

Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest

Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

Good understanding of version control systems like Git

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have:

Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Basic understanding of mobile testing tools like Appium

Awareness of security testing fundamentals
