Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL & Reporting Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, and Reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building database tables, managing data flows, and developing enterprise-level reporting solutions. Strong domain knowledge in Retail Banking, Lending, and Depository services is mandatory, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server databases, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and functions.
Build and optimize SSRS reports, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting solutions to meet business requirements.
Develop and manage SSAS cubes (Tabular or Multidimensional) for analytical and reporting needs.
Ensure efficient data flow across systems, validating data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
Translate business requirements into technical reporting and data models.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and reporting solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and application teams to deliver high-quality reporting outputs.
Support data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory data standards.
Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
Mentor junior team members and conduct reviews for SQL and reporting best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Technical Skills:
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL) complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions
Proven experience in SSRS report development (parameterized, drill-down, drill-through reports)
Hands-on experience with SSAS (Tabular / Cube design, measures, KPIs)
Strong experience in data modeling, table design, and schema architecture
Experience in handling ETL / data flow concepts
Strong knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
Experience with large datasets and enterprise data environments
