Incedo is hiring for Accounts Payable Specialist!!
Position Summary
The GL Prepaid & Fixed Assets Analyst is responsible for managing accounting activities related to prepaid expenses and fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting for prepaid expenses including amortization and reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset register and ensure accurate capitalization and disposals.
- Check monthly depreciation runs and validate outputs.
- Prepare and review journal entries related to prepaid and fixed assets.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for queries.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in GL accounting, preferably prepaid and fixed assets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Global Delivery Center (GDC) environment.
- Exposure to process transitions and standardization.
- Advanced Excel skills.
