Job Title: Mainframe Tester

Total Experience: 6 to 15 Years

Interview Mode: Face-to-Face (F2F)

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Mainframe Testers with strong hands-on expertise in COBOL and JCL to support testing activities for a large-scale enterprise application. Candidates should be proficient in mainframe batch and online testing with a strong understanding of end-to-end testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, system, and regression testing for Mainframe applications
• Validate batch jobs, JCL executions, and file processing
• Analyze COBOL programs and test data flows
• Execute test cases and report defects with proper documentation
• Work closely with development and business teams to ensure quality delivery

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Mainframe Testing
• Hands-on expertise in COBOL and JCL
• Good knowledge of Batch processing and File handling
• Experience with TSO/ISPF
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC
• Exposure to Banking or Financial domain is a plus

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Agile projects
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Notice Period:

• Immediate to 90 days
