Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered chatbots using platforms such as Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, or Rasa
- Build and maintain conversational backends and integrations using Python or Node.js
- Develop and optimize NLP models, including intent classification, entity recognition, and embeddings
- Implement LLM-based solutions using orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, RAG pipelines, vector databases)
- Integrate chatbots with external systems via REST APIs and third-party services
- Deploy chatbots across multiple channels (web, mobile apps, WhatsApp, IVR, and social platforms)
- Monitor, debug, and enhance chatbot performance using logging and monitoring tools (e.g., GCP Stackdriver, Cloud Logging)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design conversational flows and improve user experience
- Ensure high-quality code through version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Work with cloud platforms (especially GCP) to build and manage scalable AI solutions
- Contribute to system architecture using microservices, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes (GKE) where applicable
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or higher qualification)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in chatbot development or conversational AI engineering
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Proven experience with chatbot platforms like Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, or Rasa
- Solid understanding of NLP concepts and conversational design principles
- Experience in REST API development and integration
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
- Understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, and modern AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of chatbot analytics and performance tracking tools
- Exposure to voice bots, speech-to-text systems, or multilingual chatbot development (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
