Role - Manual Test Engineer - Mutual Fund
Location - Mumbai ( Goregaon , Santacruz )
Experience - 3-6 Years
Notice Period - Immediate to 15 Days

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst with strong experience in Mutual Fund applications, API testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, a solid understanding of end-to-end business workflows, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and validate end-to-end Mutual Fund application workflows (Investor onboarding, transactions, NAV processing, reporting, etc.)
- Perform comprehensive manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman/Swagger and validate request-response cycles
- Perform database validation using SQL queries to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects using Jira
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide early feedback on testability and edge cases
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases with minimal supervision
- Prepare test reports, status updates, and documentation
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Mutual Fund domain and end-to-end application lifecycle
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Good understanding of API testing concepts (REST, JSON, HTTP methods)
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing
- Experience with Jira or similar test/defect management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders independently
