Job Description

Workforce Management Analyst (Legion)

About the Role

Were looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Workforce Management (WFM) Analyst to support and optimize our workforce management systems. This role will primarily focus on Legion WFM. Youll play a key role in ensuring our scheduling, timekeeping, accruals, and wage & hour compliance processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. If you enjoy solving problems, improving systems, and working cross-functionally, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary analyst for Legion WFM, supporting scheduling, timekeeping, compliance, and accruals.
  • Assist in testing and rollout of new Legion features, updates, and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Legion support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations or enhancements.
  • Learn end-to-end business processes and support WFM-related data needs (e.g., reporting, audits, and analysis) to help scale operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in WFM systems; Legion experience preferred, plus exposure to tools like UKG, Dayforce, and/or Workday WFM (not required).
  • Required: experience working in a product-led environment and supporting off-the-shelf (vendor-based) software products.
  • Solid understanding of workforce management technology concepts: time and attendance, scheduling and forecasting, labor planning and optimization, absence management (accruals), workforce analytics and reporting, compliance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment, balancing structure with agility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward action.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities; able to translate technical terms into business language.
  • Experience with system testing, configuration, and user support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, Information Systems, HR, or related field.
  • Familiarity with workforce operations in retail or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of compliance and labor regulations as they relate to scheduling and timekeeping.
  • Understanding of integration points between WFM and HCM systems.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled capabilities in modern WFM platforms (e.g., forecasting, scheduling optimization, anomaly detection) is a plus.
  • Exposure to agile delivery principles and structured testing frameworks.

What Success Looks Like

Youll succeed in this role if you:

  • Deliver configurations and documentation that are clean, scalable, and audit-ready.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system issues before they impact operations.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across HR, Operations, and IT.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment where priorities evolve and innovation is encouraged.
