Software Engineer AI Agents & Prompt Engineering

Experience: 2-8 years
Role Type: Hands-on Technical Contributor

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in AI agents, LLM integrations, and prompt engineering to build scalable and intelligent AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI agents and LLM-based services.
• Design, test, and refine prompts and prompt pipelines for reliability and accuracy.
• Implement RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
• Integrate LLM APIs into backend systems and workflows.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable Python code.
• Collaborate closely with the AI Team Lead and product teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with prompt engineering and LLM APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and API development.
• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, etc.).
• Experience with NoSQL / vector databases.
• Understanding of model limitations, hallucinations, and mitigation strategies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with function calling, tools, and memory in LLMs.
• Exposure to TypeScript or frontend integration with AI services.
