Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Azure-native applications using C# (.NET Core / .NET 8+)
- Build and manage event-driven architectures using Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid
- Implement scalable backend services with clean architecture principles (Onion/Clean Architecture)
- Develop modular and reusable TypeScript components/libraries (ESM-based where applicable)
- Apply SOLID principles and design patterns (Repository, CQRS) across applications
- Implement dependency injection, middleware, and robust API layers
- Ensure secure systems with proper authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (xUnit, MSTest, Vitest)
- Collaborate on and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Monitor applications with structured logging, diagnostics, and observability practices
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers
Must-Have Skills (Core Requirements)
- .NET & C# (6+ years): Strong expertise in .NET Core, async/await, dependency injection
- Azure (5+ years): Hands-on with Azure Functions, Service Bus (topics/queues), Event Grid
- SQL Server (5+ years): Strong in query writing and database design
- Architecture & Design: Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Practical Coding Skills: Ability to write efficient, production-ready code quickly and independently
Secondary (Important) Skills
- TypeScript (Strong concepts, 13 years hands-on)
- React (Good to have, not mandatory)
- Azure DevOps (13 years): CI/CD pipelines, build and release management
- Experience with Entity Framework or other ORM approaches
- Understanding of microservices architecture
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills
- Experience with Power Platform or Azure Logic Apps
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event sourcing
- Familiarity with Cosmos DB
- Exposure to modular frontend architecture or Micro Frontends
Technical Expectations
- Strong understanding of dependency injection and middleware creation
- Experience implementing secure APIs (authentication & authorization)
- Hands-on experience with real-time, production-grade Azure services
- Ability to evaluate and implement appropriate design patterns (CQRS, Repository, etc.)
- Clear understanding of database connectivity strategies
