Hi All,

We are hiring Manual / Functional testers for one of our client in Mumbai.

Experience : 3-5 years

Domain : Life insurance only

Key skills : API Testing(Postman) , SQL, Manual testing

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

• Test Life Insurance workflows: Quotation, BI, Proposal creation, Payment, Policy Issuance and post issuance management.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Validate product rules, premium calculations, and risk parameters.
• Conduct backend testing using SQL and validate data across systems.
• Report defects clearly and work with product & tech teams for quick resolution.

Requirements

• 35 years of experience in QA.
• Mandatory Life Insurance domain experience, especially New Business processing.
• Exposure to multiple Life Insurance products (added advantage).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and defect lifecycle.
• Hands-on API testing (Postman, Swagger) and SQL skills.
• Experience in an Agile environment, using JIRA and other tools Good to Have
• Experience with automation tools (Postman automation).
• Prior experience in BFSI or the startup ecosystem
