Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

  • Managed the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and delivery coordination for food category
  • Developed and maintained strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring consistent performance, reliability, and service quality. .
  • Collaborated closely with inventory and operations teams to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing risks of overstocking or stockouts.
  • Monitored and tracked purchase orders, ensuring timely deliveries and proactively resolving issues related to delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods.
  • Ensured all procured items adhered to defined quality standards and organizational specifications.
  • Supported budget planning and cost control initiatives by working in alignment with finance teams on procurement budgets.
  • Conducted market research and analysis to stay updated on pricing trends, supplier landscape, and new sourcing opportunities.
  • Ensured compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and audit requirements across all procurement activities.
  • Worked cross-functionally with finance, logistics, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • 10 to 16 years of experience in procurement, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or institutional catering
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
  • Strong expertise in negotiation and contract management, with a proven ability to optimize costs and drive value
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Proficiency in procurement tools/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor relationship management skills
