Metacube Software is hiring for Workday Functional Lead, Remote and Contract role:
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Functional Lead with deep expertise in Time Tracking and Absence Management. This role is pivotal in designing, configuring, and optimizing global workforce solutions, ensuring compliance, scalability, and efficiency. As a subject matter expert, you will lead requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation activities across diverse regions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead configuration and optimization of Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules (Time Off Plans, Leave of Absence programs).
Configure and maintain Holiday Calendars, accrual schedules, eligibility rules, and leave programs.
Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective system configurations.
Provide expert guidance on best practices, design alternatives, and process improvements.
Support end-to-end implementation: configuration, SIT/UAT testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors for seamless delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of Workday configuration experience, with at least 5 years focused on Time & Absence.
Proven expertise in Time Off and Leave of Absence plan configuration.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to manage complex configurations and global workforce requirements.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
