Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

Visit customers in the field to recover overdue loan payments.
Follow up with customers whose EMIs are overdue or fall under delinquency buckets.
Negotiate with customers to ensure payment commitments and timely recovery of dues.
Educate customers on outstanding balances, penalties, and available repayment options.
Update visit details, payment status, and customer feedback in the system/collection app.
Escalate difficult or non-cooperative cases to the Collection Manager or Legal team.
Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain regular coordination with internal Collections and Operations teams.
Achieve monthly recovery targets and meet collection performance metrics.

Job Requirements :

Undergraduate/Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
1-3 years of experience in field collections (preferred: NBFC/Banking/Fintech).
Strong negotiation and customer handling skills.
Ability to manage difficult/delinquent customers professionally.
Comfortable with local travel and regular field visits in the assigned area.
Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and own a two-wheeler.
Basic understanding of loan products and collections process.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
