Job Description
DBAMIDDLEWARE L2 Experience Required5 Years Location Hyderabad Role Summary The L2 Database and Middleware Administrator will support maintain and optimize enterpriselevel database and middleware platforms ensuring system stability performance and availability The role involves daily operational activities incident management monitoring and collaboration with L3 and application teams across environments Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain SQL Server MySQL and Azure Database Services DBaaS for performance availability and capacity Perform database maintenance activities such as backups restores health checks index rebuilds statistics updates and log management and patch application Support Azure SQL and Azure Database for MySQLPostgreSQL provisioning scaling and connectivity troubleshooting Apply security configurations manage database access under guidance of L3 teams and assist in migration and deployment through DevOps pipelines Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues and escalate to L3 as needed Administer and support IIS Apache Tomcat and SharePoint platforms including installations configurations and updates Monitor middleware performance perform log analysis and handle system incidents and restarts Manage application deployments and coordinate with developers for release activities Manage SSL certificates apply security patches and maintain configuration baselines Support and maintain SharePoint environments user permissions site management and basic troubleshooting Ensure middleware components are properly integrated with databases and application layers Monitor and respond to s to ensure uptime performance and SLA compliance Maintain accurate and updated documentation including configurations standard operating procedures SOPs and knowledge base articles to support operational consistency
Collaborate with L3 teams for escalations and support 24x7 operations through shift rotations
Required Skills Experience
Strong handson experience in L2level database and middleware administration
Practical experience withMicrosoft SQL Server backuprestore user management basic performance analysis
MySQL replication monitoring and basic performance tuning
Azure DbaaSSQL MySQL PostgreSQL provisioning monitoring and scaling
IIS Apache and Tomcat installation configuration log analysis and SSL setup
SharePoint 20162019Online site management access configuration and basic troubleshooting
Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration
Experience with PowerShell or Shell scripting
Understanding of networking concepts load balancing and certificate management
Key Competencies
Strong documentation skills for maintaining standard operating procedures change logs and knowledge base articles Effective communication skills for coordinating with crossfunctional teams and escalating incidents clearly Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail Capability to work under pressure in a 24x7 rotational environment Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement Certifications Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related disciplineITIL Foundation certification preferred Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Database Administrator Associate Any relevant vendorspecific middleware certifications eg Microsoft Certified IIS or SharePoint Administration
