Job Description:
SAP MDG Certified Consultant
1) MDG Functional & Governance Support
- Support SAP MDG implementations for key master data domains such as Business Partner, Material, Supplier, Customer, Finance or custom objects.
- Assist in configuring governance processes using Change Requests (CRs), staging area concepts, approvals, and validations.
- Participate in data governance design discussions, ensuring alignment with business ownership and compliance needs.
2) Workflow, Rules & Data Quality
- Configure and support MDG workflows using BRFplus rules for validations, derivations, and defaults.
- Assist in data quality checks, duplicate detection, and remediation activities leveraging MDG and related capabilities.
- Support mass data processing and change management activities as part of governance cycles.
3) Data Replication & Integration Support
- Support data replication from MDG hub to SAP and nonSAP systems using DRF, SOA services, RFC, and ALE/IDoc (functional coordination level).
- Work with integration and technical teams to validate endtoend data distribution and consistency.
4) Testing, Cutover & Hypercare
- Prepare and execute unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and defect resolution for MDG scenarios.
- Assist in initial data load, migration validation, and cutover readiness.
- Provide post golive hypercare support and documentation handover.
5) Documentation & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, SOPs, and KT material.
- Collaborate with business users, data owners, and technical teams to ensure smooth MDG adoption
