About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Migration Engineer to lead end-to-end data migration and system conversion initiatives within our P&C insurance technology division. You will be responsible for migrating legacy policy, billing, and claims data into Guidewire InsuranceSuite, ensuring data integrity, business continuity, and on-time delivery across complex enterprise programs.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role embedded within our core transformation team. You will work cross-functionally with business analysts, architects, QA leads, and carrier stakeholders to execute one of our most strategically important modernization programs.

What you will do:

• Lead data migration strategy and execution across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter implementations
• Design and build ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load legacy insurance data into Guidewire data models
• Perform source system analysis and data profiling to identify migration risks, gaps, and remediation paths
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data mapping rules, transformation logic, and validation criteria
• Develop and execute migration run books, test plans, and cutover strategies for production go-lives
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues across pre-migration, mock run, and parallel run phases
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to migration best practices, tooling, and reusable frameworks

What you bring:

• 58 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter)
• Proven track record delivering at least 2 full-cycle Guidewire data migration or conversion projects
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Gosu, and data transformation tools (Informatica, Talend, or similar)
• Deep understanding of P&C insurance data domains policy lifecycle, billing transactions, and claims processing
• Experience with Guidewire DataMigration Framework (DMF) or Guidewire Data Platform is a strong plus
• Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in a Guidewire Cloud context
• Guidewire ACE certification in one or more products preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders
