Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex mainframe applications using Cobol programming language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
• Develop JCL jobs for data processing and DBMS interactions on IBM Mainframes (AS400).
• Troubleshoot issues related to application performance, data integrity, and system stability.

Job Requirements :

• 5-9 years of experience in mainframe development with expertise in Cobol programming language.
• Strong understanding of process design principles and ability to apply them in a technical environment.
• Proficiency in developing JCL jobs for batch processing on IBM Mainframes (AS400) using DBMS tools like SQL.
