Job description:
Looking for someone with Performance Testing skills to work on our automation team.
Will analyze the performance tests in order to create automated tests utilizing API calls.
Performance Engineer with hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter, Fiddler tool for network monitoring and basic cloud infrastructure.
The candidate should have working knowledge of Apache JMeter, Blazemeter, Scripting for Web based applications, performance data analysis, and monitoring tools.
Good Java or groovy programming skills.
Performance Script Development: Extensive Experience developing test scripts using JMeter for multiple protocols, including HTTP/S (REST), JDBC, SOAP etc.
Performance Testing Tools: Apache JMeter, Fiddler, AppDynamics, Datadog, Grafana, Splunk, databases like oracle, MongoDB, Postgres. Authentication is a challenge so understanding how to troubleshoot different types of authentication mechanisms (LDAP, SAML, SSO, etc.)
Execute the various performance tests including Load, Stress, Endurance, and capacity tests.
Participate in and support working sessions, troubleshoot script failures, communicate the why/how, drive towards resolution collaboratively.
Well versed in correlation and parameters that return voluminous content and being able to narrow it down.
Experience with JIRA / Agile methodologies.
Collaborate with Application Architects and Product Owners to define and design specific performance test scenarios and key outcomes.
Experience automating Selenium WebDriver, strong Xpath/CSS locator skills and handling dynamic elements/frames.
Testing REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, UI, and backend validations.
Experience in Java programming language and SQL queries.
