Job Description
Role Purpose
The Associate Manager Acquisition is responsible for driving the acquisition of Savings Accounts (SA) and Current Accounts (CA) by identifying potential customers, building relationships, and achieving business targets. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, cross-selling banking products, and ensuring a high-quality portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition
- Acquire new Savings and Current Account customers through direct sales, referrals, and lead generation activities
- Identify and approach individuals, SMEs, corporates, and HNIs based on segment focus
- Drive field sales activities such as cold calling, area mapping, and customer visits
2. Business Development
- Generate leads through open market sourcing, events, and partnerships
- Build a strong pipeline by networking with CA firms, builders, brokers, and local merchants
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize acquisition opportunities
3. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with newly acquired customers
- Ensure smooth onboarding and excellent customer experience
- Increase customer engagement and retention
4. Revenue & Cross Selling
- Cross-sell products such as deposits, insurance, investments, credit cards, and loans
- Focus on increasing CASA balances and fee income
- Drive product penetration within the customer base
5. Compliance & Process Adherence
- Ensure KYC and documentation compliance during account opening
- Adhere to all regulatory and bank policies
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
6. Target Achievement
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for:
- Account acquisition
- CASA value
- Cross-sell metrics
- Track performance and take corrective actions as needed
