Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
Network & Security Activities Involve:
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise office network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Plan and deploy network infrastructure for new office locations, expansions, and relocations.
Configure and maintain firewall, switches, and wireless access points to ensure network performance and availability.
Perform network capacity planning and ensure optimal connectivity across offices.
Troubleshoot network performance issues, connectivity problems, and infrastructure outages.
Configure and manage firewall policies using enterprise firewall platforms such as FortiGate or similar next-generation firewalls.
Implement network segmentation, access control policies, and secure routing.
Review firewall rules and monitor logs for suspicious or unauthorized activities.
Configure and manage VPN connectivity and secure remote access for users and offices. Perform log correlation and threat analysis across network devices, endpoints, and infrastructure systems.
Investigate security alerts and coordinate remediation activities.
Maintain security dashboards and reporting for operational visibility.
Support implementation and monitoring of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls.
Monitor and investigate data movement across endpoints, networks, and cloud applications.Job Requirements :
Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing & switching)
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and network configuration/troubleshooting
Good understanding of network security (firewalls, VPNs)
Experience in managing LAN/WAN and IT infrastructure environments
Familiar with network monitoring tools and performance troubleshooting
Working knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
Ability to handle incidents, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
Added Advantage
Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Security+)
Experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Exposure to SIEM or security tools
