Create strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Microbiology and Infectious Diseases portfolio
Act as a technical champion for the product line and deliver technical presentations to customers and stakeholders
Work closely with Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to support deal processes and drive joint business activities
Create, communicate, and implement actionable market strategies targeting academic institutions, diagnostic labs, and private research institutes
Build expertise in focus areas through networking, scientific collaborations, and KOL engagement
Stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and emerging technologies to develop effective business and clinical strategies
Support product launches, customer engagement activities, workshops, and scientific events
Develop strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within the infectious diseases and microbiology market
Coordinate with application specialists and sales teams to ensure effective product positioning and customer satisfaction
Education & Experience
Essential: M.Sc./PhD. in Microbial Genetics / Microbial Genomics or related field
Preferred: Additional exposure to business management or commercial strategy
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, product management, or customer/partner-facing roles in life sciences or genomics industry
