Engineering Manager CSM (Certified Scrum Master)

Bengaluru

We are looking for an Engineering Manager (CSM Certified) who will lead one or two engineering teams, ensuring high-quality and predictable software delivery. The role focuses on people management, delivery execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, and Stakeholders).

• Build and manage high-performing engineering teams
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and retention
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and continuous feedback
• Support career growth and performance management
• Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and learning

• Work closely with Product Owner and Tech Lead for planning and execution
• Ensure smooth sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking
• Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers
• Drive agile best practices and continuous process improvement
• Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to quality, security, and engineering standards
• Promote best practices, tools, and frameworks across teams
• Support continuous learning and improvement culture

• Collaborate with Tech Leads on technical decisions and mentoring
• Support teams in resolving complex challenges

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams (SaaS/Tech preferred)
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum delivery
• Proven people management and leadership skills
• Good understanding of SDLC and modern engineering practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

• Scala
• Java
• ReactJS

• Strong people leader with agile mindset
• Hands-on experience in Scrum delivery
• Ability to balance team management with delivery commitments
