Job Title: Manager Finance- (Cost Control & MIS Reporting)
Location: Bengaluru Corporate oice
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Finance Head
Experience Required: 812 years of experience. Preference will be given to candidate
coming from Construction industry.
Education: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
Role Overview
The Manager Finance will be responsible for overseeing cost control, budgeting, and MIS
reporting across multiple construction projects for the India BU. This role demands strong
financial acumen, hands-on experience in project-based accounting, and the ability to
collaborate with site teams, procurement, and senior management to ensure financial
discipline and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Control & Budgeting
Monitor and control project costs across civil, structural, and repair works.
Prepare and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions!
Validate contractor and vendor bills against BOQs and work progress.
Ensure proper allocation of costs to respective cost centers and projects.
MIS Reporting
Develop and maintain project-wise MIS dashboards for management review.
Generate timely reports on budget utilization, cash flow, and profitability: -
Preparation and Analysis of quarterly and yearly revenue and overhead budgets of
the company.
Preparation of Percentage of Completion (Revenue recognition) and Profit and Loss
on quarterly basis of group reporting
Preparation of following MIS Reports: Variance reports for financials, Client ageing,
DSO, Commercial report, capex cash report.
Reporting financial statements in Vision R Package
Reporting of Cash and Commercial in FFC and reporting of financial statements in
Vision R package
Preparation of Reports for Revenue and Overheads in Maestro.
Analysis of project profitability and reporting in Pilot XS
Coordinate with site teams for data collection and validation.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting formats across projects.
Project Finance & Controls
Support project managers in financial planning.
Track mobilization advances, retention money, and milestone payments.
Ensure compliance with financial covenants and reporting obligations.
Audit & Compliance
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and industry regulations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of AS7 accounting standards for project costing, billing
cycles, and contract management.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Vision)
Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
Knowledge of retention, overbilling, progress payments, and job costing
