Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.)
- Build and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications
- Ensure security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security
- Monitor system performance and proactively address reliability issues
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with development teams to improve release management processes
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
- Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, DNS)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices
