Job Description
Responsible for analyzing strategic business objectives, utilizing statistical and mathematical programming techniques for machine learning and predictive analytics, developing and implementing algorithms and models, applying natural language processing, designing network simulation models, developing automated solutions, prototyping applications, managing projects, and communicating complex findings as a Data Scientist.
- Analyze strategic business objectives and leverage advanced analytical research to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Utilize statistical and mathematical programming techniques for machine learning, predictive analytics, and other advanced data modeling tasks.
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics models to extract insights and make future predictions.
- Apply natural language processing techniques to extract meaningful insights from unstructured textual data.
- Develop algorithms and methods for efficient information retrieval from large datasets.
- Design and optimize network simulation models to improve efficiency and performance.
- Develop automated solutions to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Prototype and develop applications to demonstrate the feasibility and functionality of data-driven solutions.
- Manage data science projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
- Communicate complex analytical findings effectively through data visualization and storytelling techniques.
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar discipline.
As a data scientist based on the following number of years:
- Standard I: Two (2) years
- Fluency in English
- Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Solid SQL skills for data analytics
- Ability to present and communicate findings to management stakeholders
- PowerPoint, reporting, and dashboarding skills necessary
- Process automation and problem-solving skills considered a plus
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end data projects
- Demonstrated business impact from prior work
