Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for supervising and controlling all loading and unloading activities in the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, speed, safety, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise loading and unloading of grocery items (loose & packed) at the warehouse.
- Ensure correct quantity, quality, and condition of goods during inward and outward movement. Needs to ensure the proper stacking norms in the vehicle while loading, in the warehouse storage area while unloading.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations, transporters, and security for smooth vehicle turnaround.
- Monitor labour deployment (contract / casual workers) and ensure proper utilization.
- Maintain records of loading/unloading activities (gate passes, challans, GRN, dispatch notes).
- Implement safety practices to avoid damage, spillage, or accidents.
- Conduct regular checks to minimize shortages, pilferage, and wastages.
- Train and guide loading & unloading workers on handling practices, stacking norms, and FEFO/FIFO adherence.
- Daily upkeep of inventory by doing P.I.
- Support audits by providing accurate records and process compliance.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: Fresher to 4 Years
Industry: FMCG, Manufacturing, Food, Bakery , Dairy and SCM
Qualification: Any Graduate
Key Skills: Working knowledge of SAP / ERP system, Process Orientation , People Management., good numerical ability, ethical, sincere and hardworking
Age: Up to 29 years
